It had 3000 miles on it when I bought it back in July, and have had a few issues in my 1000 ish miles with it since then. My last issue was oil pressure warning, which turned out to be a bad sensor - did it myself, safe to say it's not easy to get to!!

Design, comfort and performance. While the 1290 Super Adventure S is an adventure bike by name and physical stature, KTM envisage owners will spend 99.99% of their time on the road, with the odd gravel track being the most off-road action that bike and rider will ever encounter - that’s why it’s got cast wheels rather than spoked rims, and So, if I was out to buy a new bike I would consider it. However I could buy a low mileage used 1190 with rouglhy the same money. I test rode the 1190 and 1190 R two years ago and I was really impressed. But clearly, I don´t need that much power. Yes, a new 1050 would tempt me. I´ll let you know my thoughts when I test ride one. sKjfyxy.
